Buses

With the co-operation of Dyson Bus Lines we have been able to establish a daily bus service for our school.

Travel for Young Victorians from January 2026

From 1 January 2026, public transport will be free for all Victorians under 18.
This initiative will save families up to $755 per child, per year, while helping young people stay connected—whether travelling to school, sport, work or social activities.

The new Youth myki card was launched on 8 December 2025 and is now available online for $5.00 transport.vic.gov.au/myki

To buy a Youth myki, customers can create an account or log in to an existing myki account, purchase and register the Youth myki, and wait for it to arrive in the mail.

Once obtained, a Youth myki allows eligible young Victorians to travel for free on trains, trams and buses across Victoria.\

For more information about the Youth myki card, visit the Transport Victoria website on transport.vic.gov.au/myki.

Children can use the service on a casual or regular basis. The service covers a wide area both north and south of Shepparton. One bus comes to the school in the morning, while two buses operate in the afternoon. They are known as either the S4 or the Raftery Rd buses. A bus list is compiled each day and children are checked on to the bus for departure from school.

Parents of Foundation children who intend on using the bus service are advised to have all relevant information such as name, address and telephone numbers and available contacts and drop off point on a laminated card so that any distress for the child can be avoided when travelling for the first time.

ENQUIRIES AND ROUTE INFORMATION SHOULD BE MADE DIRECTLY WITH DYSONS ON 5831 2150.

Bus travellers

Bus travellers are marked off the ‘Bus Roll’ by staff and settled onto the buses in an orderly and calm manner prior to departure each afternoon.

Travelling on the bus is a privilege and the school will support the bus company by suspending/banning students from the bus if there is evidence of negative behaviour.
